Housing Matters has received a £30,000 grant for a new Training and Support Officer.
The local homeless support charity helps residents return to independence by finding them accommodation while looking for long term solutions.
The new Officer will deliver an education programme as the number of young people becoming homeless is a particular concern for the charity.
The funding is from the Manx Lottery Trust's Community Awards Programme.
