Housing market boost set for September

Estate agents on the Island are expecting to see a healthy final quarter of the year for residential sales.

Tim Groves, the residential director at Black Grace Cowley, says this year has seen a thriving lower end of the market, and agents here are expecting a peak in activity for September.  
 
There's a great amount of interest in property between £250,000 and £450,000 - as buyers and sellers get ready to gear up before the end of 2014.
 
Tim says it's because people will look to make the move before Christmas:
