Planners have given the go-ahead for houses to be built next to a landmark pub on the TT course.
Frank Sweeney had applied for permission to build seven bungalows and five garages on Ballamanagh Road in Sulby next to the Ginger Hall Hotel.
The application was a resubmission of plans from 2013 which had been given permission but had expired.
The planning committee voted to approve the development.
