Householders Warned Not to Overload Fires
A reminder has gone out to the public not to overload open fires.
There was an incident last night in Castletown where Crews had to put out a fire which resulted in materials falling from an overloaded fire onto the carpet.
Nobody was seriously injured but a female had to be taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
