House of Keys: First-time buyer housing to be discussed

Improved support for first-time buyers on the Isle of Man is one of the issues being discussed this week in the House of Keys.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK, Jason Moorhouse is set to ask for an update from the Chair of the Housing Board, Chris Thomas.

Mr Thomas has previously said tackling the island's housing crisis is a massive challenge requiring bold action.

He's leading a housing group dealing with issues such as affordability, homelessness and vacant properties.

The rising cost of house prices was a key issue in last year's general election.
