A hotel in Douglas has been told it will need planning permission to have signs projected onto its wall.
The Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino on Central Promenade has submitted an application for the projection equipment.
In its application, it says the sign is fitted with a light sensor which only turns on at night.
And it adds the building itself would retain its current character and the sign won't look out of place.
