Noble's hospital will perform fewer operations in future which medics say have little clinical value to patients.
Next week in Tynwald, Health Minister Kate Beecroft will put a report before the court about the economic sustainability of her department.
The report says it needs to cut £8 million in spending at Noble's Hospital, and has so far found £5.4 million in cuts.
But the report says in future it'll do fewer operations like tattoo removal, tonsillectomies and circumcisions - saving more than 200 bed days.
