All hospital sites on the Isle of Man will be completely smoke-free from later this year.
Government says the change will come into force from April 1.
Meanwhile, officials say any smokers who feel this change could impact them are invited to get in touch with the Quit4You service for advice and support.
It can be contacted by e-mailing quit4you@gov.im or calling 642 404.
