It's hoped around 40,000 trees will be planted on Island next year.
It comes following questions in the House of Keys this week about how many have been both planted and felled since 2015.
It was revealed since January 2015 around 125,000 trees were planted compared to 62,000 which have been cut down.
However, it was also confirmed DEFA is preparing to plant in the region of 40,000 trees as part of its ongoing forest management plan.
