It's hoped the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix will be able to go ahead this summer despite the global Coronavirus outbreak.
That's according to Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly MHK, who stated in Tynwald earlier this week his department and the Manx Motorcycle Club remain focused in being able to bring the two motorsport occasions later this year.
However, Mr Skelly emphasised this will be monitored alongside the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic for which the Island has now introduced emergency measures to protect communities from the illness.
The 2020 TT races across late May and early June were cancelled earlier this week as part of those official measures.
