Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says homelessness is still an issue on the Island.
In Tynwald this week Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker asked what the government's response is to the issue.
The Minister said despite the Island's benefits system, excellent social housing and work of volunteers, it's still an issue.
He said it's a complex area that can't be fixed by firing a single silver bullet but work is underway to both help and prevent homelessness.
