The Home and Lifestyle Exhibition was due to take place in Ramsey this weekend.
An exhibition due to take place this weekend has been postponed after the recent rise in virus infection rates.
The Home and Lifestyle Exhibition was due to take place on the 24 and 25 July at the Mountain View Innovation Centre in Ramsey.
The company behind it, Construction IoM said it's the most responsible action to take.
A spokesman added that many of local businesses are under a considerable pressure to remain open with the impact of staff isolation requirements.
He added: "We know this decision will disappoint many people who had planned to visit and had worked hard to support us, but our vision was to have a large scale event that could be used as a platform to showcase the huge range of homegrown talent that is on offer across the island’s construction and lifestyle sector.
"A new date will be confirmed once we have had an opportunity to speak to all of our stakeholders"
