High winds bring trees down around Island

The wind has been creating issues around the Island over night with Infrastructure work teams out in force clearing fallen trees.

The Coast Rd from Douglas to Ramsey is closed from its junctions with Minorca Hill and Old Laxey Hill due to a tree and electronic cables down outside the New Inn.

This road will be closed until at least 9am.

All service 3 buses from Douglas will divert from the Manx Arms in Onchan, Avondale Road, and run over the mountain to Ramsey, with all Ramsey service 3 buses diverting over the Mountain to the Manx Arms.
