High tides and gale force winds result in road closures

Motorists are warned to look out for large waves and debris coming onto the roads this afternoon.

The high spring tides coupled with gale force winds are making for choppy seas.
 
It's not expected to impact the harbours, and flooding risks are minimal, however King Edward road Onchan has been closed from Port Jack to Summerhill, as has Shore Road Gansey and Castletown promenade. 
 
Met Office forecaster Neil Young says the situation will ease as we move through the day:
