An Island high school has been given a reprimand by the Information Commissioner over its data protection practices.
Queen Elizabeth II High School in Peel was reprimanded last month by Dr Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya, according to a report on her office's work this year.
The regulatory action was taken after two principles were breached: the first said data collection should focus strictly on what's needed for a specific purpose.
Meanwhile the second involved data integrity and confidentiality.
