Organisers behind a fundraising event for a 10-year-old boy with cancer are hoping the public will turn out in force today (Saturday).
A family fun day is being held in the Douglas Legion Hall at midday to help raise money for Alfie Quilliam who attends Fairfield Junior School.
Earlier this year he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour and has had to undergo treatment at Alder Hey Hospital.
Today his friends and family have organised stalls, games, a raffle and a silent auction to do something special for him.
