A coastguard helicopter has been launched to join the efforts to locate a missing woman from Ramsey.
Police are currently searching for 51-year-old Sarah Pinckard and last night discovered her car but confirmed she wasn't there.
She was last seen on Wednesday evening and is described as 5 foot 7 with dyed silver/blonde short hair and drives a distinctive Nissan Juke with butterfly stickers on it.
Anyone who may have seen Sarah or who can assist with enquiries are being asked to contact authorities on 631 212.
