Hedgehog Lady of Peel unable to take in any more

The Hedgehog Lady of Peel says there's 'no room at the inn' as she's unable to take in any more hedgehogs.

Vera Barber says she has 33 current admissions, with cleaning and feeding them taking up a lot of her time.

She adds that all of the cages she has are in use, and the hedgehogs who would be able to go back into the wild can't at the moment due to the cold weather.

In all the years Vera has been caring for the creatures, she has only previously ever had to turn one away due to having no room.
