Heavy snowfall on Mountain Road

The Police have reported heavy snow fall which has already resulted in one minor accident near to the Black Hut.

Motorists are urged to take an alternative route, however if you do opt for the Mountain then you should take it slow.

Gritters have been deployed to the area to start the gritting process which should create a slightly safer passage for motorists on their way to work.
