Among the most heartwarming moments of the king's visit came as he met with a Manx WWII veteran.
King Charles had a chat with 104 year old James Fenton yesterday, Tuesday, July 14.
They sat down during the monarch's private visit to Heroes on the Water in Port Soderick, a charity which helps veterans and emergency service workers.
Mr Fenton's among the last surviving recipients of the Burma Star medal, and spoke with the king about their last meeting, and aging:
