 
                            The public will get their first opportunity to have their voices heard on the future of nursing and residential care at todays Government Conference event.
Minister for Health and Social Care Lawrie Hooper said this is going to be a major undertaking for his department, and he urged the public to come and play their part in shaping its outcome:
Elsewhere today there'll be a presentation on finance and Government budgets, a Q&A with the Chief Minister and a small business workshop offering a guide to VAT.
Proceedings will get underway at 9am with a welcome address by the Deputy Chief Minister Jane Poole-Wilson.
