Health and Social Care Minister Claire Christian says a report about private patients at Noble's Hospital can't be published until next year.
She faced a question for written reply from Onchan MHK Julie Edge, who asked for all reports, reviews, independent consultancy reports, and business cases about the issue since 2016.
In her response, the minister said Manx Care has commissioned a report from a consultancy company called the Housden Group.
Work on the report was carried out in August, but the document can't be published until it's been reviewed by Manx Care's Board in January.
