Health minister Lawrie Hooper says reported problems with the NHS app are, in fact, problems with text messages from telecoms companies.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions about the software from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
She claimed people were having problems using the mobile apps, and that was having a knock-on effect on doctors' surgeries.
But Mr Hooper said the underlying problem lay elsewhere:
