People are being asked to be good neighbours and check in on older members of their community during the hot weather.
The humid conditions and high temperatures can be dangerous for those people considered 'vulnerable' as it can cause dehydration and kidney damage in extreme cases.
In England it's estimated that over 700 people have died so far due to the heatwave.
The Department of Health says it is important to keep cool and hydrated.
