ManSat chief executive Chris Stott is taking up the post in the satellite gallery at Maryland’s National Electronics Museum which is due to open next year.
The exhibition will present a history of satellites and the technology they use as well as more information about the industry.
Mr Stott says it is a privilege and is recognition of the Island’s progression within the space sector.
