The head of the Prospect union was on the Island yesterday to meet with some of the Island’s 1800 members.
General secretary Mike Clancy had meetings with public sector workers, where the Chief Minister’s Scope of Government report took centre stage.
Mr Clancy says with mounting pressures faced by the members it's important Prospect’s UK arm never loses sight of the specific circumstances and challenges on Island.
He's calling on the public not to overlook the crucial role public servants play in service delivery on the Island:
