What do you think about secondary school uniforms on Island amid the cost of living crisis?
The Department of Educations wants to know as its launched a month-long consultation.
Currently, each school sets its own uniform requirements - so students know what to wear and what happens if they fail to do so.
However, the department now wants to hear from students, parents, teachers and suppliers on the role uniforms play in school life.
Views are also wanted on the cost of purchasing uniforms, to ensure it doesn't 'become a barrier 'to participation in learning.
The department says the feedback will help shape future principles.
The consultation can be found at https://consult.gov.im/ and closes on 16 February.
