The Chief Minister’s Guernsey counterpart has resigned from his post.
Peter Harwood, who was on the Island earlier this month, took the decision to step down due to the ‘risk to the reputation’ of the office.
It relates to his previous role as a director of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
Guernsey’s financial services commission are currently investigating questions raised about the regulation of the exchange.
Mr Harwood says he felt it would put unnecessary media attention on his position.
