A new air bridge between the Isle of Man and Guernsey is being described as a 'major milestone' by Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK.
It was announced last week Guernsey-based airline, Aurigny, will run routes between the two Islands from next month and the travel corridor means residents of both Islands won't need to quarantine on arrival.
A flight schedule will be announced in due course.
Mr Quayle says it will allow Manx holidaymakers to enjoy a different destination over the summer, but also gives both governments a chance to see an air bridge in practice and how they may look to expand them to other places in similar positions.
Both the Isle of Man and Guernsey have now gone several weeks without any new cases of COVID-19.
