Campaigners have submitted an application to the Attorney General to hold new inquests into the deaths of dozens of people in the Summerland disaster.
The original hearings in August 1973 returned verdicts of misadventure - which the Justice for Summerland group claims were unjust and incorrect.
The disaster claimed the lives of 50 people, including 11 children.
Spokesperson Jackie Hallam says the group's legal team have thoroughly examined the case and now submitted the request for fresh hearings.
