A new yellow weather warning is now in place for wintry showers and ice.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says the conditions are expected to affect the Island until 3pm tomorrow.
Temperatures will fall below zero this evening, leading to a risk of ice developing on road surfaces.
Showers falling as sleet/snow is also expected overnight as well as tomorrow morning, turning to rain in the afternoon.
The Department of Infrastructure says gritters will be out from 6pm tonight on a number of key routes across the Island.
It adds that other crews are briefed and ready to further grit from the early hours of tomorrow morning if needed.
