 
                            The Department of Infrastructure says it’s ready to tackle freezing temperatures and wintry showers this week.
The DOI says its gritting crews will go onto main roads at 1pm today to help keep driving conditions safe.
Ronaldsway Met Office has upgraded its snow warning to amber ahead of the wintry weather and says it’s expecting temperatures to plummet tonight, with expected snow, ice and gale force winds.
Icy conditions are expected to last until approximately 6pm on Saturday, December 9.
