An Island animal charity has defended itself after criticism over its festive experience.
The Home of Rest for Old Horses took to Facebook to say it's been saddened by several anonymous complaints on social media about its Santa's grotto.
It says it stands by its Father Christmas, adding he's a selfless, caring man, and its staff work shifts of up to 14 hours to host the event.
But the Home is appealing to people to come and talk to it about any problems, rather than posting online.
