The Isle of Man Green Party has welcomed the extension of the Paris Agreement to Manx shores.
The international treaty on climate change was signed in 2016, with the Green Party publicly calling for it to extend to the Isle of Man since 2018.
The Paris Agreement aims to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
Following formal discussions between the Manx and UK governments, the extension officially took place last week.
The Green Party now calls on the government to set plans for how businesses, communities and local authorities on the Island will be able to access renewable energy by 2030.
