Plans to build nearly 100 new homes in Castletown have been given the green light.
Haven Homes' project for 96 properties at 'The Meadows' is set to go ahead after Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot MHK, accepted the planning inspector's recommendation to reject an appeal opposing the initiative.
The Island developer says the project will provide 24 houses aimed at first-time buyers and 72 for the open market consisting of three, four or five bedrooms.
27 homes are part of Phase One, all but one of which have been sold - those set to be in Phase Two will be released in the coming weeks for further reservations.
