The Friends of Ballaugh Old Church received £6,834 from the Manx Lottery Trust, to be used on preservation works and improvements.
The money will allow for the purchase of an industrial dehumidifier for winter, restoration of the distinctive weathervane, and fresh interior painting.
Lennie Fenton from the church organisation said the grant would make a real difference to their ability to care for the special building - which holds such an important place in the heart of the community.
