A local charity has been awarded a grant to support its 'Choir Safari' initiative.
The Cathedral Foundation for Music and Arts, which supports and funds the music department in St German's Cathedral in Peel, has received £1,200.
The initiative will see the choir head out 'on safari' to perform at eight parish churches across the Island while the Cathedral is temporarily closed for works.
The grant, which is from the Manx Lottery Trust, will be used to cover transport costs.
