The Island's newest primary school has officially opened, with a huge ceremony for staff, pupils and guests.
Henry Bloom Noble School on Westmoreland Road covers part of the old Noble's Hospital site and cost £9.5 million to build.
Yesterday, it formally opened its campus, having had pupils in the school since September.
The school replaced Fairfield and Tynwald Street schools, and head teacher Ian Walmsley says it was quite a job merging the two and moving premises:
