The British Horseracing Authority is investigating whether a horse owned by Island residents Doug Barrowman and Michelle Mone can race in the Grand National this year.
Monbeg Genius - bought by Baroness Mone for her husband - is one of the favourites to win the Aintree event in April, with bookies offering 20-1 odds.
But the couple had £75 million in assets frozen by a court order as they're investigated over a pandemic PPE contract, and now the racing body says it needs to know if the horse can legally run.
The BHA says it's been in contact with them to see if there are any implications for their involvement with racing.
