Minister for Education Eddie Teare and Health Minister David Anderson chaired the meeting, they highlighted that the school building has surplus capacity and an area has been identified that could sectioned off.
To avoid congestion the surgery wouldn’t operate when the school’s 131 children were arriving or leaving.
The residents were told that it was very much upto them if the plan went ahead or not.
It’s expected that the conversion would cost no less than £100,000.
The plans can be viewed in full at the commissioners’ office, or copies will be handed out at parents’ evening.
