Snaefell Surgery is creating a GP partnership that means a broader area of practice will be available.
Two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Janette Qualtrough and Mary-Rose Pritchard, will join the South Douglas practice.
Both are qualified to treat a wide range of medical conditions, so that there's more capacity for GPs to focus on treating more complex patients that require a doctor's care.
Snaefell Surgery has been supported by locum GPs recently due to issues around GP availability.
It's first partnership of its kind here and according to Manx Care, it will provide faster access to medical support.
