The Isle of Man government is strongly encouraging pregnant women to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
The latest UK data from the Health Security Agency provides more reassurance that the jab is safe, and shows good outcomes for vaccinated women who had babies earlier this year.
Figures show that no fully vaccinated pregnant women were admitted to intensive care with coronavirus in England between February and September 2021.
Pregnant women are also more likely to become seriously ill if they do contract the virus, with one in five of the most critically ill patients being unvaccinated expectant mothers.
Anyone who is pregnant and has not yet had a first dose can register online, with those needing a second dose or booster being asked to call 111 and not use the online booking system if eligible.
