The government says it's in talks with other airlines to provide UK routes originally covered by Flybe.
The airline went into administration this morning meaning all its flights were cancelled, including those to and from the Island between the likes of Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.
Meanwhile officials say all scheduled patient transfers were advised this morning of the situation and are asking anyone due to travel in the next few days to check the government patient transfer website or ring 642 673 for details.
Officials add they remain confident another operator will be able to take on the affected routes.
