Government has confirmed an investigation has been launched into an incident involving a school bus.
It comes following photos sent in to 3FM of a bus with its windows smashed last Wednesday (September 7).
According to our source - this was in the south of the Island - (specifically the Arbory/Colby area) and despite a car crashing into the bus - it carried on to drive primary pupils home.
3FM contacted government for comment - who confirmed an investigation was launched immediately after the incident in Colby on Wednesday afternoon - and remains ongoing.
Officials say a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction is understood to have been involved, and police have been informed.
Bus Vannin has apologised for any distress caused and says 'it wishes to assure those affected that it is in the process of establishing what happened'.
