Beach Buddies has revealed its first patron – the Isle of Man’s Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney.
The charity has been working since 2014 to clean up the Island's countryside- volunteers spend time litter picking and delivering bins to various beaches, glens and footpaths.
Beach Buddies say the governor is well known as someone who cares about the environment and wildlife -so it’s delighted he accepted the invitation as his support will be a 'major benefit'.
