Government and the retail industry have jointly developed a new Island-wide strategy to boost the sector's growth.
Earlier this week, the strategy was laid before Tynwald to inform on retail developments that aid the formulation of relevant policy – such as planning.
The Department of Economic Development says the aim is to aid development in trade, pass information to Tynwald and notify the public.
