The government says it won't release a letter about the Island's assisted dying laws sent by the UK's Deputy Prime Minister.
A Freedom of Information request asked for the correspondence after David Lammy told the government it wouldn't put the new bill forward for Royal Assent.
But the Cabinet Office says the information is exempt because it relates to direct communication with the Lieutenant Governor.
It refused to release the documents.
