 
                            The Island's Enterprise Minister says the government won't be able to give businesses more money to help them pay a living wage.
Later this month, Tynwald will debate the first part of a move to force businesses to pay a living wage rather than a minimum wage.
In the House of Keys this week, Tim Johnston MHK faced questions from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper about how the Department for Enterprise was helping businesses adapt.
Mr Johnston said support was available - but government couldn't simply dole out cash for wages:
