Manx farmers are getting a helping hand from the government after a spell of hot and dry weather.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agricutture is giving an advance payment to cover costs for their livestocks' bedding and food.
The Island's recent warm temperatures and lack of rain has meant crops and grass are struggling to grow.
The department says the shortage and increased demand for supplie has pushed up prices and put more strain on farmers' finances.
DEFA Minister Geoffrey Boot says they'll continue to work with those in the industry to make sure farmers are 'fully supported'.
