The Island's Infrastructure Minister says a 25 per cent price hike for school bus fares will net the government an extra £45,000 a year.
In the House of Keys Tim Crookall MHK faced questions from Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse about last month's increase.
Mr Crookall said a previous increase in 2019 hadn't been enough and the fares were heavily subsidised.
